Call for Presentations

We invite presentations from both academia and industry, bringing together researchers interested in all aspects of interpretability in computer vision and their potential future applications.

Presentations can be either published work or ongoing research. The aim is to spotlight recent work, receive feedback and spur discussion. We expect presentations to cover one or more of the following areas (but this is a non-exhaustive list):

• What’s next for interpretability in computer vision?
• Mechanistic interpretability and circuit discovery
• Post-hoc approaches for post-training analysis
• Interpretable-by-design methods
• Language-based and multi-modal techniques
• White boxes vs black boxes
• How can we make existing foundation models interpretable?
• Datasets and evaluation metrics
• Understanding representations for explainable models
• Real-world applications
• Robustness and scalability
• Model intervention

Presentations will take the form of one of two types: poster or talk. You can apply using the form below: if you’d like to present with a talk, tick “Yes” under “Interested in Presenting the work?” (you’re welcome to present your work with both a talk and a poster). If you’d prefer to present only with a poster, tick both “Yes” and “I’d prefer a Poster”.

Important: This is an in-person event, with no virtual attendance option. We kindly ask all presenters to join us at the British Computer Society on the day.

Registration

We keep the cost of attending these events as low as possible to ensure no barriers from the whole computer vision community attending. The registration costs are as follows
