Tutorial programme
The BMVA Committee likes to have big hand in the choice of the tutorial and the speakers.
Actions include:
- Identify a set of potential topics and speakers.
- Discuss the candidates with the BMVA Committee at previous conference.
- Send initial invitation (dates, tutorial length, printed notes, all local expenses, offer free registration to the conference or a cash fee of somewhat less than the registration fee - 250 pounds.
- We like to have a title by January 1 and an abstract, outline by April 1 and the course notes by August 15.
It seems to be a good idea to timetable the tutorial in the main conference venue.
